Welcome to the 3rd season of The Move Dance Project!

This season we will travel all across Western Canada providing classes in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Street Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary Jazz, Technique, Musical Theatre and Turns & Progressions. Directed by Josh Beamish, former co-director of DROP Dance Workshop, The Move Dance Project boasts a faculty of 28 working professionals from across Canada. Some of them have been teaching and performing for years and have accumulated vast experience and knowledge throughout their careers. Others are fresh on the scene, just emerging in their careers and hungry to share their enthusiasm with the students they teach. Together we make up The Move Dance Project and we are greatly looking forward to meeting and teaching Western Canada’s young dancers.

The Move Dance Project is also an extension of MOVE: the company, Josh Beamish’s exciting new professional contemporary jazz company, based out of Vancouver. Many of our faculty members work with or for the company, so keep an eye out for your chance to see your favourite teachers performing live in your city.
